The culture of any group of people remains one of their priciest commodity. Infact, it is the major component of toursim package of any civilization.
By way of grooming culture and drama, Lagos State government’s administrative quest to harness the cultural heritage and tourism potentials of Rivers inorder to make her  a prime tourist destination no doubt has taken shape and have also received international recognistion and applause.
In an attempt to focus on the beautiful and majestic continent of Africa as an emerging tourist destination, and following the successful production of major  national and international  pageants across Africa, from over 6 states presented for inspection and selection, The proverbial Riverian Hospitality has earned it as the choiced destination to host 30 states around the country for the MISS TOP MODEL contest.
We see MISS TOP MODEL as a chance to be “proactive” rather than  “reactive”   to the Lagos State tourism potentials on the global level; translating beyond that, into a land breaking opportunity for foreign direct investment.
